Leads & CRM

The Leads module is your sales pipeline. Every inquiry becomes a card you move through stages until it’s won (and becomes a client) or lost.

Leads → Kanban shows your pipeline as columns. Drag cards between columns — on mobile, tap-and-hold to move. The default stages are New Lead, Contacted, Qualified, Proposal Sent, Won and Lost.

Kanban Settings lets you add, rename, recolor, reorder and delete columns. Each column has a stage typeOpen, Won or Lost — which feeds the closing-rate KPI on the dashboard: leads in Won columns (or converted to clients) count as wins; leads in Lost columns count as losses. Rename columns freely; the stage type keeps your metrics correct.

Each lead stores contact info (a lead needs at least an email or phone), company, city/state, source, service of interest, estimated value (feeds pipeline value), qualification status (unqualified, qualified, hot) and an assignee. Leads also carry:

  • Comments — internal notes with full history.
  • Attachments — photos and files, stored securely.
  • Activity log — every change, move and conversion, with who and when.

Leads → Import accepts a CSV file. Download the template from the same screen, fill it in, upload, and review the results (created, skipped, errors per row). Export downloads your leads as CSV at any time.

When a lead closes, click Convert to client. LedgerJob creates the client record, moves the lead to your Won stage and re-links its attachments to the client. Conversion is one-way.

  • Mark hot prospects with qualification hot — the dashboard counts them separately.
  • Fill estimated value to make the pipeline value on the dashboard meaningful.
  • The AI assistant can create leads, update them, move them across the kanban and comment — just ask.
